California’s economy will suffer plenty from climate change. But at least it’s not Florida

Global warming will punish some areas of the country more severely than others. The same factors will play out in California. Coastal regions, where much of California’s wealth is concentrated, will be somewhat buffered because of the breezy ocean climate.
