In the Southeast, Climate Change Finds a Landscape Already Ravaged by Inequality
		According to a 2017 study published in the journal Science, some U.S. counties could lose as much as 20% of their annual GDP as a result of damage from unmitigated climate change. Many of those hardest-hit counties lie across the Southeast.
